Soirée électro Japonismes 2018 – TOKYO HIT VOL.3
The third installment of this all-night event at the Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris.
This time, we are collaborating not only with French music event organizer Take Hit, but also As with the Centre Pompidou and Technopol which is responsible for Paris’s biggest techno events like Techno Parade and Paris Electric Week, to create an unforgettable evening event.
We are excited to announce that our star performer is Takkyu Ishino, who has led the Japanese techno scene since its beginnings with his highly innovative approach. Ishino will be taking over for Ken Ishii, who headlined the last event. Acquiring fame as a member of Denki Groove, Ishino was also one of the originators of the rave event WIRE held annually in Yokohama Arena from 1999 to 2013. From around 1995, Ishino has also been performing solo, particularly in Berlin, where he played at Love Parade’s 1998 Final Gathering to an audience of 1.5 million. Drawing influences from techno, German trance, and acid house, Ishino has built up his own signature sound that combines imaginative timbres and a subtle playfulness. His multi-colored, slightly unearthly style is sure to raise the roof at Tokyo Hit.
The French pronunciation of “Tokyo Hit” is ‘Tokyoïte,’ or Tokyoesque.
Attendees will enjoy seeing Maison de la culture in an utterly different light, as the venue layout will be converted into an open nightclub setting with exciting light displays and VJs.
