High School Student Ambassadors of NIPPON Culture

Three Japanese high school students to visit Paris as cultural ambassadors and communicate the appeal of Japanese culture
This project invites Japanese high school students to apply to become cultural ambassadors and go to France to communicate the appeal of Japanese culture. Twelve students selected by screening of applicants, including a review of essay submissions, undergo a four-day training program and give presentations at Tokyo National Museum in Tokyo’s Ueno Park and other locations before being appointed High School Student Ambassadors of NIPPON Culture. Three of the twelve ambassadors will visit the Jōmon exhibition at Maison de la culture du Japon à Paris (MCJP) to communicate some of the fascination of ancient Japanese Jomon art to French high school students.
