French-Japanese Dialogue 5 France as Viewed by the Japanese / Japan as Viewed by the French (Symposium)
Since 1858, France and Japan have deepened their exchanges in a large number of areas – diplomacy, art, literature, etc. What charms has each country seen in the other, and to what extent have they been mutually accepted? What have been the societal and cultural consequences of such an exchange? French and Japanese experts will attempt to answer these questions.
